Tornjak, aka Croatian Mountain Dogs are an ancient and magnificent breed originating from Croatia. 

Tornjak are a medium - large breed, with males reaching 26-32 inches in height and weighing 75-150 pounds. Females are slightly smaller. 

They have a thick, double coat that's well-suited for harsh climates. The outer coat is coarse and straight, while the undercoat is soft and dense. The coat can be various shades of white, cream, brown, or black, often with distinctive markings. 

Personality and Temperament - Intelligent and loyal: Tornjak are highly intelligent and loyal dogs, making them excellent companions and guardians. They have strong protective instincts, which makes them wary of strangers and potential threats. 

Tornjak are agile and active dogs that require regular exercise to stay happy and healthy. They do best on acreages or farms where they have a job.
